David is a qualified counsellor/social worker with degrees in psychology, history, social work, counselling and theology. He has practiced for 36 years in the government, non-government and private sector. He is an Accredited Member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
Carol Brewster-Michie
Carol is an East Arrentre, Luritja woman from Alice Springs. Carol is a qualified child-care worker and has worked in the early childhood field as a practitioner, manager and trainer for over 30 years. She works with Telethon Kids Institute and Emerging Minds providing support and training with Indigenous communities and organisations. Carol also has experience in running storytelling events, cross-cultural encounters and mentoring that allow non-Indigenous Australians to hear the stories and views of Indigenous people.
